ABOUT ME

Katie is a professional freestyle Snowboarder from West Yorkshire, United Kingdom. After starting Snowboarding from the age of 5 and Gymnastics from the age of 4,  Katie quickly realised that she had a passion for sport.

Katie grew up training on the plastic dry slopes of Halifax, West Yorkshire, before getting noticed by the British team and then began training abroad in the mountains.

At 16 years old, Katie shocked the planet by becoming the first female in the World to land a backside double cork 1080. This kick-started her road to many World Cup podiums, including a World Cup Gold, X games Bronze and Briton's first Snowboard Crystal Globe and Overall World Cup title. Katie also became an Olympian at the 2018 PyeongChang and Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games.
